Youth Groups. We all know that one of the secrets to helping our children carry their Jewish identity into adulthood is to encourage their participation in youth group activities. Brith Achim is fortunate to have not one, but THREE active youth groups – JYG 5/6 for our fifth and sixth graders, JYG 7/8 for our preteens, and BRATY (Brith Achim Temple Youth) for our children in ninth through twelfth grades. Our BRATY group is part of the National Federation of Temple Youth, and our students have the opportunity to participate with other students, both regionally, and nationally. Many of the activities are pure fun – ski trips, sleepovers, swimming, skating, attending sporting events, rafting – and many are tied to our goal of encouraging our kids to take part in mitzvot by helping others. Our goal is 100% membership for eligible children – please help us to keep your kids engaged in fun and meaningful activities with other Jewish kids! An annual Junior Youth Activity Fund contribution of $36 per family is appreciated. BRATY membership dues are $45 per year per member.

Sisterhood is an active and vital part of our congregation. When you become a member of Sisterhood, you become a partner in the work of Reform Judaism through the Federation of Temple Sisterhoods, known as Women of Reform Judaism. Our varied programs are informative and entertaining and offer an opportunity to connect with women in our community. Fundraising efforts support our Temple youth as well as many programs and needs within the congregation. Annual dues are $40. Membership includes international dues as well as attendance at our annual opening event. Please consider additional support of Sisterhood by becoming a "Chai" member or a "Double Chai" member. Dues at the "Chai" level are $58 (basic dues plus chai). Dues at the "double Chai" level are $76 (basic dues plus double chai).

Our Men’s Club, a member of the Men of Reform Judaism (formerly the National Federation of Temple Brotherhoods), provides an opportunity for our members to meet on a regular basis for social activities, including but not limited to dinner meetings, attendance at sporting or theater events, movies and featured guest speakers. We strive to provide a forum for meeting new people, fostering new friendships and relationships, and discussing areas of common interest and general schmoozing. We actively support all other Temple functions and committees as needed, including hosting regular events such as the Men’s Club Shabbat and The Italian Bistro. Our dues are $45 per year, which includes national dues and attendance at our yearly opening brunch meeting.
