The intrepid Any Nesters didn't let some muddy ground at Grounds for Sculpture keep them down. A few dedicated souls headed out to Longwood Gardens instead, where we enjoyed 3 acres of displays in the Conservatory. Some were permanent, such as the orchids and the Bonsai trees, and others were seasonal. In the later afternoon the sun even peaked out and we walked the grounds enjoying the fall displays, such as the huge carved pumpkins and the giant cornucopia overflowing with gourds and pumpkins of many beautiful colors. Keep your eyes open for future activities; hope to see you there.

Age or marital status is not a factor for the Empty Nesters. It is a social group of adult Temple members who have slipped the bonds of children (or never had any to begin with) and like to have fun -- a night out for dinner, theater, a visit to a museum or any other excuse to get out. This group also provides service to our Temple community by partnering with other Temple committees to co-sponsor events such as Reel Nights, the Passover Seder and Social Action Programming.
Our format is fluid and changes to meet the needs of our members. All adult members of TBA are invited to participate in any or all of our activities. Please refer to our calendar for the latest events.
If you are interested in being part of the group that makes these events happen, please contact Kareen Hartwig to find out how you can help.
