SISTERHOOD OF TEMPLE BRITH ACHIM
Gifts at Purim - Mishloach Manot

The origins of MISHLOACH MANOT go back all the way to the Megillah, the Book of Esther, when Mordechai declares, “Let Purim be a time of feasting and gladness - send food to one another, and give generously to the poor”. Mishloach Manot is a very special way to remember Queen Esther’s bravery, and to give thanks for the freedom of the Jews from the tyranny of Haman and for the freedom we enjoy today!

In the spirit of this tradition,
you can now send Purim wishes & goodies to
Temple Brith Achim members,
our religious school teachers
and Temple staff.

In addition, we will make a contribution to the Women of Reform Judaism's YES Fund.  Youth, Education & Special Projects strengthens the institutions of Reform/Progressive Judaism and ensures the future of Reform Jewish leadership. During these difficult economic times YES benefits: rabbis, cantors, educators, nursery schools, summer camps, and social justice projects world wide.

Make the giving (and receiving!) of Mishloach Manot a part of your family’s holiday celebration.
