Welcome to Temple Brith Achim

We will enable congregants to attend most activities online, so each member can participate in the manner that they feel most comfortable. Although the TBA policy will allow events and activities to be held indoors, some groups may choose to continue meeting online, for reasons of convenience or comfort, so please check the details of the activity you plan to attend.

Select Community>Weekly Events for event & building details.

Temple Brith Achim is an inviting, egalitarian, Reform synagogue serving the Jewish communities of King of Prussia and over 25 other western Philadelphia suburbs.

Temple Brith Achim offers a wide variety of religious, educational, and social opportunities for its members.

Our TBA family shares many opportunities to worship, learn, and grow in a welcoming atmosphere rich with religious and cultural traditions. Our thriving Powell Religious School, from pre-school through confirmation, provides the means that create positive Jewish identities through the study of Torah, Hebrew, prayer and history; and the celebration of Shabbat and life-cycle events.

Our cultural and social programming provides many opportunities to share with old and new friends, and the events appeal to a wide variety of interests. We are proud of the honors bestowed upon our Sisterhood chapter. TBA also has an active Men’s Club, Adult and Youth Choirs, an Outreach group, Junior and Senior Youth Groups, a toddler play group, the Empty Nesters, the TBA Players and a host of other activities which include Adult Education, Torah Study, Social Action, a yearly Scholar-in-Residence, Adult B’nei Mitzvah classes, a monthly junior congregation, Shabbat dinners, and Holiday celebrations.

Friday night services begin at 7:00 PM.  Saturday morning services at 10:00 AM. Every Saturday. We have two weekly Torah study sessions - 12:00 PM on Thursdays and 9:00 AM on Saturdays. Please join us. All are welcome.

WELCOME

Shalom and Bih-roo-cheem Hah-bah-eem – WELCOME! – to Temple Brith Achim’s virtual home on the internet. I’m so glad you have chosen to spend some time visiting our website, as I know this site is rich with ideas and information to help make our site and our congregation more familiar to you, and to help you feel more comfortable during your visit as well.

While your journey through these pages will offer you many glimpses into the myriad programs, activities, and worship experiences that fill our Temple Events Calendar to overflowing almost every week of every year, they are only glimpses. Sharing time with us in person will give you, and us, tangible opportunities to make Judaism come alive, shaping and changing our lives through prayer and through study, through celebration and through support, through dance and through song, through community and through connections – through “Brith Achim,” brotherhood/sisterhood.
