  • Get Weaving with Pete!

Tuesday March 5 at 7 PM Pete Walsh is a member of the TBA Community and spends much of his spare time weaving. He will give a brief history of fabric weaving and discuss some of the advances that took it from a family-focused, cottage industry to a major commercial enterprise.  Pete will bring several looms with him, including a 36” floor loom which will be set up to weave cotton dish towels.  After a short demo, there will be time for anyone to sit at the loom and get weaving!! Please join us for a fun evening and learn more about one of the oldest crafts in the world. Contact adulted@brithachim.org with any questions.
