Junior Youth Groups

TBA has Junior Youth Groups for students of all ages!  Our youth groups get together to have fun and build closer friendships.  Youth groups provide students with the opportunity to interact informally in a Jewish environment.  In addition to building stong bonds among the members, youth group promotes a strong sense of belonging to the Brith Achim community and the Jewish community at large.  Whether they are bowling, ice skating, trampolining, or hanging out playing games and watching movies, youth group enriches a students’ experiences and helps to strengthen a positive Jewish identity.  Youth group members play a role in such Temple events as the Purim carnival and service project; participate in exciting trips and activities and on occasion, share events with other Reform Temple youth groups.

Contact the main office for this year’s calendar of Junior Youth Group events.

BRATY (Brith Achim Temple Youth)

BRATY is TBA’s youth group for 9th through 12th graders. Monthly meetings and programs are designed to provide friendship, fun, informal Jewish education, and to promote a strong sense of belonging within the Temple. Social action is an important component of programming and includes service to the Temple and the community. BRATY is affiliated with the North American Federation of Temple Youth of the URJ. BRATY teens frequently get together with other Temple youth groups within the Philadelphia area. BRATY is open to non-temple members.
